Table-top Ring Stretcher with Box

Table-top ring stretcher stretches rings up to half a size without heating. This ring stretcher delivers where it counts, with six spline mandrel and various sizes from 3 to 15. can be bolted to bench easily. Smartly packaged in a natural pine storage box. Quickly and easily increase the ring size with collets provided. Easy to use. Do not need to cut and resolder ring.

Excellent for Wedding Bands without Stones. Stretches Material by expanding metal from within and reshapes bent Rings. Not suitable for very small size rings. Will handle anything larger than size 8. Stretches Material by burnishing in increments.

There are two rotations First is Horizontal where the handle rotates around the base. This is the action that burnishes the ring and stretches it. The Ring is placed around this fixed roller and is pushed against this fixed roller by the removable roller.

Second is the handle rotation that moves the removable roller against and away from the Flat fixed roller on the base. With this you regulate the amount of pressure you want to apply on the ring shank.

The different sizes and profiles of the rollers are provided so that you can choose the closest roller that would fit the profile of your wedding band or Ring shank.

If you have a stone set ring it is recommended to avoid the stone portion and just rock the horizontal roller to stretch the ring on the shank alone and reshape the ring on a Mandrel. For a Wedding band too it is advisable to stretch the portion with no inside engraving or the back side which ever that will create least work & use a Ring Mandrel to reshape the Ring.

Helpful Hints & Steps:
1. Select the Roller that matches your Ring’s Shank Profile.
2. Remove Pin Holding the removable roller & replace it with this.
3. Place Ring around the fixed roller & turn knurled handle to align the roller groove.
4. Turn Knurled Chrome handle to apply minimum pressure on the ring.
5. Swivel the Handle horizontally back and forth to Expand the Ring.
6. Increase the pressure by small adjustment on the knurled handle.
7. Reshape ring on a mandrel with a leather mallet to avoid polishing.
