Due to popular demand, Gemworld Class: Boutique Silversmithing Workshop No.18 is being repeated one week later than the advertised date. Please note that this class is for June 26th (details to follow).

Learn to Make your Own Finger Rings
This workshop is suitable for anyone with a keen interest in learning the core skills for making finger rings from precious metals. We will particularly focus on making textured silver bands and you will learn all the following:

- how to correctly size rings and what tools you need for it
- how to work out the length of metal for a particular ring size
- how to cut metal using a jewellers saw frame
- how to file and sand metals
- how to operate LPG torch
- how to anneal and solder silver
- how to texture rings
- how to shape rings and which tools are best to use for this

At the end of the workshop you will take home your own textured sterling silver band. Still keen to learn?
