Beacon 527

Beacon 527 Multi-Use Glue is fast drying, super strong, and crystal clear in color. Can be used to repair jewellery, china, metal, shells, ceramics, leather, gems, paper, cork, glass, wood, cardboard, and more. This water-proof glue is in a 2 fluid ounce tube and has a precision tip for lines or dots and a regular tip for general applications. Identical properties to the recently discontinued Bond 527.

HELPFUL HINTS
• All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust in order for glue to properly adhere.
• Apply a thin layer of glue to one side of the material to be bonded and gently press both sides together to prevent oozing.
• Glue dries in approximately 2 hours although maximum strength will be achieved in 24 hours.
• Don’t use varnished or painted surfaces as a work area or place glued items on such a surface until at least 24 hours so that glue has an opportunity to cure.
• Clean up with acetone while glue is still wet.
• Always use in a well-ventilated area away from any sparks or flame. Keep out of reach of children.

Tip:
If you're a regular user of super glue or other kinds of epoxies, you can keep the tips from drying out by storing the tubes in a jar of rice. It sounds a little backwards, but super glue actually needs water in order for it to harden and dry out.
