Nylon Wedge Hammer with Wooden Handle, 1¼" Head

The large nylon wedge hammer has one face 1-1/4" round and slightly domed used to flatten and shape sheet and wire with no risk of marring. The other face is wedge shaped for working tight areas. Total length 10-3/4" with a head length of 4-3/4".

This nylon wedge hammer is designed for shaping and forming jewellery wire, sheet metal and other delicate workpieces without leaving the marks that can be caused by a conventional steel hammer. Its non-marring nylon head makes it a useful bench tool for jewellers, watchmakers, silversmiths and craft workers carrying out light forming and adjustment work. The head combines a rounded face for general flattening and shaping with a wedge-shaped face for more focused forming along edges, curves and narrow areas. It is securely fitted to a wooden handle that provides a comfortable, well-balanced grip during use. The round face measures approximately 1¼" in diameter, while the complete nylon head is approximately 4¾" long. Product weight is approximately 125 g.
