Simply heat the shellac to hold components, once the shellac cools it will harden and not break down, simply apply heat to re position item or dissolve in denatured alcohol to remove completely.

Shellac flakes are soaked in alcohol (or Methylated Spirits) until dissolved. Then the mixture is painted on to your stone and allowed to dry.
