Easy to replace: remove the belt, remove the retaining clip from the end of the shaft, pull the shaft out, remove the old bearing and replace it with the new bearing and reassemble. Repeat these steps for each bearing. This is the white bearing which is used on all four ends of the idler shaft and the drive shaft--4 are required for a complete makeover. Yes they are expensive, but Lortone is the only one who makes them. This bearing measures approximately 1/2″ in diameter and 3/8″ tall.
