White freshwater pearl necklace. 44cms long. Threaded with overhand knots on double silk string between each pearl. Roundish pearls with a slightly oblong shape and less symmetrical curves give the name for this type of pearl as a potato pearl. They mainly come from China ,are a very affordable substitute for round pearls and are popular with jewellery makers and beaders.The necklace features a silver clasp with pearl feature. Pearls are roughly 8 x 6mm.
